Role: Senior Residential Property Paralegal

Location: Sheffield City Centre

Full - Time, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Prepare and review legal documentation, contracts, reports, forms, and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Assist with progressing matters, including exchanges, completions, post-completion activities, and regulatory submissions.
  • Conduct property searches, review results, raise enquiries, and identify potential risks or issues for escalation.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, agents, lenders, solicitors, and other stakeholders, providing updates and maintaining excellent client service.
  • Complete compliance and due diligence checks, including source of funds reviews and lender requirements.
  • Manage a varied workload independently, prioritising tasks and supporting the wider team as required.
  • Handle straightforward matters independently and assist with more complex transactions under limited supervision.
  • Maintain compliance with internal procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, training, and the effective operation of the team.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months' experience in a residential conveyancing or similar legal support role.
  • Good understanding of the conveyancing process and property transaction lifecycle.
  • Experience drafting legal documents, reports, and transaction-related paperwork.
  • Strong client service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with case management systems is advantageous.
  • Professional, proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach.
  • Commitment to high standards of integrity, compliance, and client care.
