About Liberty House

Liberty House is a specialist short break service supporting children and young people with complex needs and disabilities. We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dedicated team.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Lead shifts
  • Support and mentor staff
  • Contribute to care planning
  • Administer medication
  • Ensure children receive high-quality, child-centred care

You will play a key role in promoting positive outcomes, independence and meaningful experiences for children and young people accessing our service.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or Children and Young People's Residential Care
  • Have experience working with children and young people
  • Experience supporting children with disabilities, complex needs or additional health needs is desirable

  • Can confidently lead and support a team
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Can demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
