Salary: £35,200 per annum

Location: SE25 5EW

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality fresh food for a busy retail operation, serving approximately 450 covers per day.
  • Support the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained.
  • Take ownership of a designated section, ensuring all food is prepared, cooked, and served efficiently during busy service periods.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, stock rotation, and minimising food waste to achieve cost targets.
  • Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards, ensuring all due diligence records are completed accurately.
  • Train and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging continuous development within the kitchen team.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills to meet service demands and deadlines.
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials while maintaining retail food trends and customer expectations.
  • Bring previous Chef de Partie experience, a passion for cooking and learning, strong food preparation knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a positive team-focused approach.

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Store Manager to lead the M&S store at Warwick Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a well-established, high-footfall store within a fast-paced healthcare setting.

  • Leading by example and embedding a high-performing, inclusive team culture

What We’re Looking For

  • A confident, people-focused leader who can inspire and develop a team
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance operations and leadership
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Experience in retail or a customer-facing management role (preferred)
