RAC Senior Retention Manager
RAC are recruiting a Senior Retention Manager to help shape the future of how we retain, engage and grow value for our members.
This is a unique opportunity to join the Consumer Retention Squad on a 6-month fixed-term contract, taking ownership of key retention propositions and helping to drive member value through innovative products, digital experiences and commercial performance.
You'll play a pivotal role in leading the RAC's retention portfolio, developing compelling propositions, GTM strategies, delivering initiatives that reduce churn, and support commercial growth.
Working with individuals across Insights, Digital, Marketing, Pricing and Finance, you'll bring strategic thinking and hands-on delivery expertise to help us evolve our retention strategy and proposition roadmap.
What You'll Do
- Develop and optimise retention propositions, including member benefits, products and subscription offers.
- Identifying opportunities to improve member journeys and retention outcomes in myRAC app.
- Develop and deliver go-to-market plans in partnership with Marketing, Digital and Telephony teams.
- Manage performance across a portfolio of retention initiatives, balancing commercial performance, member value and operational delivery.
- Use data, insight and customer behaviour analysis to identify opportunities to reduce member churn.
- Build business cases and evaluate investment opportunities to maximise portfolio performance.
- Lead proposition testing and optimisation, embedding a test-and-learn approach.

What You'll Need
- Experience in developing and delivering initiatives to hit commercial and financial targets, ideally in a subscription-based business.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with experience using customer insight to drive business performance.
- Experience developing and launching customer propositions, products or member offers.
- A proven ability to work across multiple stakeholders and influence at senior levels.
- Experience within a breakdown, roadside assistance, subscription, insurance, membership or similar recurring revenue environment would be highly desirable but is not essential.
