Senior Revenue Analyst

This well-established food and beverage business, based in Heathrow, London, is looking to appoint a Senior Revenue Analyst to support its continued growth.

The role offers the opportunity to join a large, complex operational environment where data accuracy, financial control and analytical thinking are key to ensuring revenue is accurately captured and reported.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of customer billing, invoicing and revenue reconciliation, ensuring all charges accurately reflect operational activity and services delivered.
  • Analyse and validate detailed data, investigating discrepancies between internal billing systems, portals and customer records.
  • Investigate variances between billed amounts and customers’ records, identifying missing charges, incorrect quantities, pricing discrepancies and potential revenue leakage.
  • Interpret customer-provided data and reports to understand discrepancies, challenge inconsistencies and ensure invoices accurately reflect the services delivered.
  • Identify trends, recurring billing errors and unusual data patterns, using analytical insights to resolve issues and improve revenue accuracy.
  • Maintain robust reconciliation schedules, supporting documentation and audit trails, ensuring every billed item can be traced back to the relevant operational data.

Profile

You will have:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in billing, revenue control within a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies, interpret complex datasets and identify patterns, inconsistencies and root causes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing high volumes of data at a granular level.
  • Experience reconciling information across multiple systems, customer portals and operational reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to challenge discrepancies and discuss findings with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and business partnering skills.
  • The ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear findings and practical solutions.
