Are you an RGM leader who thrives on finding where the biggest commercial opportunities lie? Are you someone who can combine data, strategic thinking, and commercial instinct to influence decisions and drive profitable growth?

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of the RGM agenda within one of the most competitive and dynamic categories in FMCG.

Signature Career Management are partnered with a branded FMCG organisation with a portfolio of much-loved brands, operating in a category where consumer trends, innovation, retailer demands, and supply chain complexity create a constantly changing commercial landscape. It’s a business which moves quickly, challenges the status quo, and expects its people to think differently.

There’s no room for complacency here. You’ll work alongside ambitious, high-performing teams and have the opportunity to shape the commercial strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and make a genuine impact on the future direction of the category.

We’re looking for a Senior Revenue Growth Manager who is ready to step up and lead the RGM agenda for a significant category. This is the most senior role at this level in the business, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile agenda and, longer term, progress into broader RGM or commercial leadership.

The Role:

As Senior Revenue Growth Manager, you will own the RGM strategy for a key category, with particular emphasis on promotion, whilst bringing a broad understanding of the full RGM toolkit.

You’ll identify where the biggest opportunities exist, translate data and insight into a clear commercial strategy, and then influence the wider business to bring that strategy to life.

This is a role where leadership and influence are just as important as technical RGM capability. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance, balancing competing priorities and bringing stakeholders with you as you steer the category towards both its immediate and longer-term ambitions.

You will also line manage a high-performing RGM Manager, providing leadership, direction, and coaching while helping to build further RGM capability across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Own the RGM agenda for a key category, identifying opportunities across pricing, promotion, mix, and other commercial levers to drive sustainable, profitable growth
  • Lead the development and execution of category-specific promotional strategy, ensuring investment is optimised and delivers against both customer and business objectives
  • Translate complex data and insight into clear, commercially compelling recommendations that influence senior stakeholders
  • Develop and shape the 1–3 year RGM strategy, balancing long-term strategic ambition with the need to deliver short-term commercial performance
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance, influencing stakeholders and aligning teams behind the category strategy
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and required changes to strategy as the category and wider market evolves
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing RGM Manager, creating an environment where they can continue to grow and perform at their best
  • Bring an RGM mindset to the wider business, challenging thinking and helping to raise capability across the organisation

What makes this role different?

This category is particularly fast-moving, highly competitive, and increasingly innovation and trend-led. You’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple RGM levers simultaneously, navigating changing priorities, and making decisions in an environment where there isn’t always a straightforward answer.

The successful person will therefore need to be equally comfortable getting into the detail and thinking strategically, switching between immediate commercial challenges and the bigger picture.

We’re looking for:

  • A strategically minded FMCG RGM professional with strong commercial awareness and experience working across multiple RGM levers
  • Particularly strong experience in promotional strategy/execution, alongside a broader understanding of pricing, mix, trade investment, and other RGM disciplines
  • Someone who can turn data and insight into clear commercial recommendations and compelling stories
  • A confident stakeholder influencer who can work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other functions
  • A natural leader who can take ownership of an agenda, make decisions, and bring others with them
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, managing competing priorities without losing sight of the strategic objective
  • Someone who enjoys challenging the status quo, asks the right questions, and is always looking for where the next opportunity might come from
  • Ideally, experience gained within an organisation where RGM is an established and valued commercial discipline, although we’re equally interested in individuals who can demonstrate the right level of capability, influence, and leadership in a less traditional RGM environment
