In the automotive world, change is a constant, that’s why we take our job of untangling the complex car-buying journey very seriously.
At our core, we’re all about people. We go our own way while embracing diversity and celebrating our differences. We dedicate ourselves to the idea that we work better together. About the role
We're looking for a Senior Reward Advisor to help deliver and continuously improve our reward, benefits and wellbeing offerings across Autotrader. Working closely with the Reward Manager and wider People team, you'll provide expert advice, analysis and operational support that helps ensure our reward programmes are fair, competitive and aligned with our business objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced reward professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder engagement and problem solving. You'll support the delivery of core reward activities, including salary reviews, share schemes, benchmarking, job evaluation and reward reporting, while acting as a trusted advisor to managers and colleagues on pay and reward matters. Through clear insight and practical guidance, you'll help ensure reward decisions are consistent, equitable and aligned with our reward principles.
With a strong analytical mindset, you'll play an important role in using data and insight to support reward decisions, producing robust analysis, management information and recommendations that help shape our reward approach. You'll also contribute to governance activity through policy maintenance, reporting and the preparation of materials for senior stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
