Role Overview:
Job Title: Senior Ruby Engineer
Location: London - Hybrid (4 days in the office)
Salary: Up to £110k per annum
We are partnering with an innovative company based in London seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Ruby Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Ruby Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the team by contributing hands-on to product development while also guiding and mentoring junior developers. Key Responsibilities:
Programming (75%):
- Build and maintain robust, scalable Ruby applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Coaching and Mentoring (25%):
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Lead code reviews, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Act as a mentor to junior developers, helping them grow in their roles.

What We're Looking For:
- Extensive experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience mentoring and coaching developers, with a passion for leadership.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
