Rust Engineer – Permanent

Location: Newcastle or Edinburgh 1 day a month in office
Employment Type: Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Rust Engineer to join a growing engineering team.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong development experience with Rust
  • Experience designing and developing backend services and APIs
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs
  • Experience working with SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2 or SQL Server
  • Experience with Git and modern source-control practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles, testing and maintainable code
  • Experience developing reliable, scalable and high-performance applications
