Senior Business Development Manager – Digital Experience Platform - Social Housing

Hybrid - 3 days per week in Woking

The Role

This is a senior new‑business sales role focused on winning complex digital transformation projects across social housing and the wider public sector. You will lead opportunities end‑to‑end, positioning high‑value SaaS solutions to C‑suite and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and close
  • Proactively identify and engage new public sector and social housing prospects
  • Build trusted, consultative relationships with senior decision‑makers
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that clearly articulate commercial and operational value
  • Lead and manage tender and procurement processes from start to submission
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting using CRM systems
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 years’ successful B2B SaaS new‑business sales experience
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high‑value software deals
  • Experience managing tenders or formal procurement processes
  • Confidence engaging, influencing, and negotiating with senior executives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing
  • Comfortable working in a target‑driven, fast‑paced sales environment

Advantageous

  • Experience selling into social housing, local government, or the wider public sector
  • Familiarity with enterprise CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Background in digital transformation, DXP, or enterprise software solutions
