Be part of something new. Help us build a SACT service from the ground up.

Our new Guildford SACT unit opens in December 2026 – and we’re looking for experienced Senior SACT Nurses to join our founding team.

This is your opportunity to join GenesisCare’s largest SACT unit to date, with 11 individual treatment pods, in a brand-new, purpose-built environment designed around patient comfort, privacy and high-quality care.

But this isn’t simply a new building. You’ll be joining at the beginning of something – helping shape how the service operates, supporting the development of the team and establishing the standards of care that will define the unit.

If you’re an experienced SACT Nurse looking for a role where you can use your expertise, develop your career and make a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you.

Why GenesisCare Guildford?

Our new SACT service has been designed to provide an exceptional experience for both patients and clinicians.

You’ll work within a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, with longer appointment times giving you more opportunity to focus on what matters: education, toxicity assessment, holistic care and emotional support.

Rather than focusing on volume, our model is built around clinical excellence and personalised care. You’ll work closely with consultants, pharmacists, radiographers, Clinical Nurse Specialists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide truly holistic cancer care.

The new unit will offer patients access to a wide range of SACT and supportive treatments, alongside:

  • A purpose-built infusion suite with private treatment pods
  • On-site access to consultant reviews
  • Pharmacist input when required
  • 24-hour patient triage support
  • Access to the best technology to support your patients journey and wellbeing such as Scalp cooling technology and Hilotherm to help prevent chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy
  • Dietetic and Speech & Language Therapy support
  • Exercise Medicine programme available to all patients
  • Wellbeing support through our partnership with Penny Brohn
  • Access to clinical trials and innovative treatment approaches

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Work closely with consultants, pharmacists and the wider MDT
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues
  • Contribute to clinical audit, research and service development
  • Help develop clinical protocols, pathways and standards as the new service evolves

  • Deputise for the Lead SACT Nurse when required

The role offers genuine clinical autonomy alongside the opportunity to contribute to the development of a new service.

  • Experience and competence in blood transfusion and bone marrow biopsies
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
