TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Senior Sales Account Manager to join our external client's Sales Team in York.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced office printer / print solutions sales specialist to manage and grow an established client portfolio while developing new business opportunities across the North East.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in selling office printers, photocopiers, multifunctional printers (MFPs) or associated print and document management solutions. You will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities and providing tailored print solutions to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop and grow an established portfolio of office printer and print solution customers.
  • Generate new business opportunities across SME, corporate and public sector clients.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through existing accounts.
  • Sell office printers, photocopiers, MFPs and associated print/document management solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate print solutions.
  • Conduct customer meetings, presentations and product demonstrations where required.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets, revenue objectives and KPIs.
  • Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to close.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity.
  • Support tender, contract and major account opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider sales and technical teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience selling office printers, photocopiers, MFPs or print/document management solutions is essential.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales or account management role.
  • Strong experience developing existing accounts and generating new business.
  • Commercially focused with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident presenting solutions to customers and identifying their requirements.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • CRM experience; Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Full UK Driving License.

Details

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Competitive basic salary + commission.
  • Company car or car allowance.
