Love luxury, relationships and a great deal? Help a much-loved London silk brand grow its wholesale business across the UK and Europe.

Founded in London in 2004, Gingerlily is a family-owned, B Corp–certified luxury brand, specialising in pure mulberry silk bedding, bed linen and sleepwear. Our collections are stocked by some of the world’s best department stores – including Harrods, Bloomingdale’s, Printemps, El Corte Inglés and John Lewis– and used by high-end interior designers.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced, proactive and commercially driven Senior Sales Account Manager to manage our UK and European wholesale and trade business. Working closely with the CEO and senior team, you will be responsible for delivering revenue growth while maintaining a strong focus on profitability, growing existing key accounts, acquiring new accounts and stockists, making sure every order – from quotation through to delivery reflects the quality of the brand.

The role combines strategic account management with hands-on commercial operations: forecasting, pricing, EDI and order management, warehouse coordination and bespoke projects. It is a key link between Customers, senior management and external partners.

As part of a small, collaborative team, this is a hands-on role. While you will take ownership of your accounts and sales objectives, everyone at Gingerlily contributes beyond their immediate remit when needed, supporting wider business priorities, team activities and projects as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management and Growth

  • Take ownership of delivering profitable sales growth across your accounts, working towards agreed revenue and margin targets and ensuring commercial decisions balance customer opportunity with the profitability of the business.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key UK and EU retail accounts, from trading reviews to annual plans, occasional UK and European travel for client visits and trade fairs.
  • Hold regular reviews with buyers, using sell through and stock data to recommend replenishment, new lines and marketing support.
  • Communicate annual price changes and discontinued lines clearly and in good time, protecting the relationship.
  • Proactively build and maintain a strong new-business pipeline, identifying, approaching and converting suitable new stockists, retailers, designers and trade partners across the UK and Europe.
  • Take a proactive approach to sales, regularly identifying opportunities within both existing and prospective accounts rather than relying solely on inbound enquiries.
  • Set budgets and forecasts by account and report on performance to the CEO and senior management.
  • Negotiate trading terms, contracts and manage agreed pricing updates.
  • Handle quotations, invoicing, EDI and account set-up (Sage), and coordinate fulfilment with our UK and Netherlands warehouses.
  • Prepare translated packing lists for EU partners and export documentation, working with the warehouse and carriers on customs requirements.
  • Represent Gingerlily at trade fairs and train retail teams on our products.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
