Senior Sales Account Manager
Location: York
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About the Role
TEXO Recruitment are working with a growing and forward-thinking business who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Sales Account Manager to join their successful Sales Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B sales and account management professional to manage and grow an established client portfolio while developing new business opportunities across the North East.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong client relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, develop and grow an existing client portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through existing accounts.
- Develop new business across SME, corporate and public sector clients.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the territory.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Understand client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
- Monitor market and competitor activity.
- Support tender and major account opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the wider sales team.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar sales or account management role, ideally within managed print, technology, business solutions or another solution-based industry.
- Strong track record of developing existing accounts and generating new business.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- CRM experience; Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Professional, confident and driven approach.
- Excellent written and spoken English.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Sales / Account Management professional with a proven track record of managing key accounts, generating new business and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
You will be commercially driven, confident dealing with clients at all levels and motivated by the opportunity to develop your career within a growing organisation.
