Senior Sales Associate

Location: Mayfair, London
Salary: Up to £39,000
Position: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Sales Associate to join a prestigious luxury fashion boutique in the heart of Mayfair.

This role is suited to a highly motivated luxury retail professional with a proven track record in sales, client development, and delivering exceptional service to a discerning clientele. The successful candidate will act as a key member of the boutique team, supporting commercial performance while helping to maintain the highest standards of client experience and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Sales

  • Deliver an exceptional and highly personalised luxury shopping experience to every client.
  • Build, manage, and develop a strong client portfolio, generating repeat business through proactive clienteling and relationship management.
  • Cultivate relationships with VIP, international, and high-net-worth clients.
  • Provide expert styling advice and product recommendations tailored to individual client needs and preferences.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Drive private appointments, client outreach initiatives, and sales events.
  • Ensure exceptional after-sales service, fostering long-term customer loyalty.

Leadership & Team Support

  • Lead by example on the shop floor, demonstrating best-in-class client service and sales performance.
  • Support the management team in maintaining boutique standards and daily operations.
  • Assist with the onboarding and mentoring of new team members.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
  • Share product knowledge, clienteling strategies, and best practices with colleagues.

Brand Representation

  • Act as a true ambassador for the brand, embodying its values, heritage, and aesthetic at all times.
  • Maintain exceptional product knowledge across all collections and seasonal launches.
  • Ensure impeccable personal presentation and professionalism.
  • Communicate the craftsmanship, design philosophy, and unique identity of the brand with confidence and authenticity.

Boutique Operations

  • Support stock management, inventory control, replenishment, and stockroom organisation.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining operational compliance.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and boutique presentation in line with brand standards.
  • Ensure all client-facing areas remain immaculate and reflective of a luxury environment.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the boutique.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Senior Sales Associate or experienced Sales Associate within luxury fashion, jewellery, accessories, or premium retail.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within a luxury environment.
  • Strong clienteling skills with an established ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Experience working with VIP and international clientele.
  • Passion for luxury fashion, craftsmanship, and exceptional service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly polished, professional, and confident in presentation.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive team player with leadership potential.
