Senior Sales Associate - Luxury Retail
Location: London Flagship store
Reports to: Store Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and sales-driven Senior Sales Associate to join our luxury retail team, specialising in Ready-to-Wear and Made-to-Order services. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing VICs, consistently exceeding sales targets, and driving business growth. You will be responsible for providing personalised service to an elite clientele, maximising revenue opportunities, and representing our brand with the highest standards of professionalism and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Clienteling
- Drive sales and surpass targets by utilising extensive product knowledge and exceptional sales techniques in both Ready-to-Wear and Made-to-Order services.
- Deliver a luxury, personalised shopping experience for clients, offering bespoke styling advice and customised solutions based on their needs and preferences.
- Manage the full sales cycle for both existing and new clients, ensuring a seamless and elevated shopping experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales opportunities through Made-to-Order services, product launches, and special events.
- Stay ahead of fashion trends and seasonal collections, ensuring the ability to offer informed, cutting-edge style recommendations.
VIC Relationship Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of VICs.
- Maintain and enhance strong, long-term relationships with top clients, ensuring high levels of engagement and loyalty through regular follow-up and personalised communications.
- Create personalised CRM tools and clienteling strategies to track VIC purchase history, preferences, and special dates to tailor communications and anticipate client needs.
- Plan and participate in exclusive client events, fittings, and trunk shows to increase client engagement and drive high-value sales.

Sales Leadership & Target Achievement
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, demonstrating a results-driven approach to business growth.
- Consistently achieve personal and store sales KPIs, setting the standard for the team and contributing to overall store success.
- Be a key contributor to business development efforts by identifying new VICs and nurturing high-potential leads through exemplary service and relationship building.
- Serve as a sales mentor to junior associates, offering guidance and support in achieving their own sales goals.
Store Operations & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with store management to ensure that all sales strategies are aligned with the store’s goals and brand standards.
- Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining the overall aesthetic of the store to reflect the luxury positioning of the brand.
- Collaborate with the inventory and stock team to manage product availability and ensure clients have access to the latest collections.
- Provide leadership during busy periods, stepping in to manage client flows, troubleshoot issues, and keep service standards high.

Key Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in luxury retail, with a focus on managing VIC clients and exceeding sales targets.
- Extensive expertise in Ready-to-Wear and Made-to-Order services, with the ability to deliver personalized, tailored solutions to high-net-worth clients.
- Proven success in achieving and surpassing individual and store-wide sales targets in a luxury environment.
- Exceptional clienteling skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with VICs and other top-tier clients.
- Strong knowledge of luxury fashion, trends, tailoring, and high-end craftsmanship.
- Highly organized with a proactive approach to sales and client engagement.
- Professional, polished, and a true brand ambassador, with a deep understanding of the luxury customer experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and during high-traffic periods.
