M.J. Bale is opening its first store in the UK, on Jermyn Street, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Associate to help launch it.
Founded in Australia in 2009, M.J. Bale creates garments of integrity built on genuine provenance, from Tasmanian wool growers to Italian weavers to Japanese tailors. Since 2015, we have worked with Kingston, a carbon-positive farm in Tasmania, on single-source suiting, returning a share of every sale to fund the land's biodiversity. In 2024, we became a certified B Corp. That standard has made us Official Tailor to the Australian Test cricket side, the Wallabies and the Socceroos, and it underpins more than 80 stores across the country. This appointment marks the brand's first move beyond Australia, and the first opportunity to bring that standard to London.
About the Role
You'll be among the first to present M.J. Bale to London, helping establish how the brand looks, feels and performs on Jermyn Street.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
