This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week in office at our London location
The Role
The Senior Sales Development Representative is responsible for driving new business pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers within the retail and eCommerce sectors. This role partners closely with Sales and Marketing to execute targeted prospecting and account-based marketing initiatives, generate qualified opportunities, and support revenue growth. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting activities, including phone, email, and social outreach
- Research and identify target accounts, key stakeholders, and business opportunities within enterprise retail and eCommerce organizations
- Execute targeted account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns in partnership with the Marketing team
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and effectively transition opportunities to the Sales team
- Build and maintain lead generation campaigns, prospect segmentation strategies, and outreach workflows
- Maintain accurate prospect, account, and activity data within Salesforce and other sales systems
- Conduct market research and provide insights on industry trends, target accounts, and campaign effectiveness
- Track pipeline development activities and contribute to forecasting and reporting efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams to optimize lead generation strategies and sales outcomes
- Perform other related duties as assigned

WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation, or a related role
- Previous SaaS experience
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly via email and telephone
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Highly organized and process-driven with strong attention to detail
- Passion for eCommerce, retail, and online technology
- Understanding of the digital customer journey across websites and digital channels
- Knowledge of eCommerce terminology and concepts, including conversion rates, sessions, and A/B testing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously

Your individual compensation within the budgeted salary range is determined based on your skills, education, experience, and internal equity. This position is commission-eligible.
Budgeted Salary Range (not including eligible commission): £37,448.60 GBP - £44,057.18 GBP
Commission: £12,015.52 GBP - £12,015.52 GBP
