Senior Sales Director – Capital Markets Technology
Location: London
Region: EMEA
The Company
A well-funded, New York-headquartered technology start-up building an AI-native platform for the capital markets industry.
Following strong early traction in the US, the business is expanding internationally and is looking to appoint its first dedicated sales hire in EMEA.
The Role
This is a senior individual contributor role with responsibility for building and growing the business across the UK and European markets.
The focus is firmly on new business development. The successful candidate will bring an established network across capital markets, but importantly must remain a true hunter who is comfortable originating opportunities, building pipeline from the ground up and winning new logos.
Responsibilities will include:
- Own new client acquisition across the UK and European markets.
- Develop relationships across banks, hedge funds, asset managers and other institutional market participants.
- Build pipeline through a combination of existing relationships and proactive outbound business development.
- Manage the full sales process from initial engagement through commercial negotiation and close.
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
- Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline with disciplined forecasting.
- Work closely with product and technical teams throughout the sales process.
- Help establish repeatable sales processes as the EMEA business scales.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Experience navigating complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
