Robotics Senior Sales Engineer – Life Sciences (UK & Ireland) - £55-65k Basic
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer – Life Sciences to cover the UK and Ireland within our North East European Robotics Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow sales activity focused on Life Sciences in the defined territory
- Identify, technically specify and develop robotic opportunities with Customers, OEMs, End Users, and Systems Integrators
- Increase market share in the Life Sciences sector
- Create and execute a development plan for the allocated geographic area
- Achieve agreed sales targets
- Promote and sell the full range of robotics solutions
- Ensure opportunities and technical specifications are processed and followed up efficiently
- Keep the CRM system updated accurately and on time
- Conduct regular market research on customers and competitors
- Attend relevant industry trade shows and conferences as required
- Collaborate closely with the wider Robotics team and coordinate with other divisions
- Participate in sales and divisional meetings

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ successful B2B sales experience in robotics, industrial automation, control technology, special-purpose machine manufacturing, or a related technical sales environment
- Essential knowledge of Life Science applications, markets, and customer requirements
- Solid technical understanding of robotics or industrial automation
- Existing network of contacts among End Users, OEMs, and Systems Integrators, with a clear understanding of their needs and challenges
- Confident use of CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated team player who can work independently, manage their own travel, appointments, pipeline, and territory planning
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
