About the Role
We're looking for an ambitious and technically-minded Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth across the UK South and Ireland territory. This role sits within our Robotics Division and is focused on identifying, developing, and converting opportunities across the industrial automation and robotics landscape.
You'll work closely with end users, OEMs, and system integrators to deliver innovative robotic solutions while helping expand our market presence across General Industry sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional who combines strong technical knowledge with a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop sales activity across the assigned territory.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new robotic automation opportunities within General Industry.
- Build strong relationships with End Users (EUs), Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and Systems Integrators (SIs).
- Increase market share by promoting the full portfolio of robotic solutions.
- Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
- Engage with customers to understand operational challenges and automation requirements.
- Support the identification and development of technical specifications for potential projects.
- Ensure opportunities are progressed efficiently from initial enquiry through to successful closure.
- Deliver professional product presentations, demonstrations, and solution proposals.
- Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the business at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Robotics Division and wider business units.
- Participate actively in sales meetings, planning sessions, and divisional initiatives.
- Coordinate effectively with other company divisions to deliver the best customer solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, opportunities, and activities within the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and territory reports.
- Ensure all customer interactions and project developments are captured in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience within robotics, industrial automation, control systems, special-purpose machinery, or a related technical sales environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
- Experience selling complex technical solutions to industrial customers.
- Strong understanding of robotics, automation, and manufacturing technologies.
- Knowledge of AGV and AMR solutions and their applications would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to understand customer challenges and position appropriate technical solutions.
- Established network of contacts across End Users, OEMs, and Systems Integrators.
- Commercially driven with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Experienced user of CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational and territory management skills.

Requirements
- Full UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the territory, with occasional international travel when required.
