Senior Sales Executive

Location: London, UK
Reporting to: Head of Inbound Sales

Love the thrill of matching clients with the perfect space and want to take your sales career to the next level? We’re looking for a motivated, results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our London Sales team. In this role, you’ll be the critical first point of contact for incoming enquiries—qualifying exciting opportunities, owning the end-to-end sales process for mid-sized events, and partnering with our Senior Account Managers on major global accounts. If you have 1–3 years of commercial experience, a sharp business mind, and a passion for premium hospitality, we want to hear from you!

We’re Here For You:

At Convene Hospitality Group, we want you to feel supported in every part of your life. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Health & Wellness: Private medical insurance, subsidised fitness and eye care, plus well-being and personal support programs. Because your well-being matters, inside and outside of work.
  • Time Off & Balance: 25 days annual leave, bank holidays, and company sick pay.
  • Financial Benefits: Bonus scheme, interest-free loans for rail travel or further education, and a Cycle to Work program. We invest in you so you can grow personally and professionally.
  • Growth & Recognition: Career development opportunities and programs to celebrate your achievements.
  • Community & Impact: Volunteer, donate, and make a real impact through your work.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Qualification & Opportunity Management: Manage a high volume of inbound enquiries across Senior Account Manager owned and target accounts via telephone, email, and e-RFP channels. Qualify opportunities against client requirements ensuring a timely and professional response. Perform rigorous qualification to ensure alignment with Convene Hospitality Group’s physical and hybrid product solutions.
  • Revenue Generation: Own the end-to-end sales process for event enquiries of up to 50 attendees within assigned owned and targeted accounts. Develop proposals, negotiate commercial terms where appropriate, and convert opportunities in line with individual and team revenue objectives.
  • Account Support & Opportunity Development: Partner closely with Senior Account Managers to identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts. Ensure strategic opportunities are efficiently qualified, documented, and transitioned to the appropriate account owner while maintaining a seamless client experience.
  • Site Visits & Client Engagement: Conduct professional site visits for small group opportunities and support Senior Account Managers with site inspections, client presentations, and account-specific initiatives for larger programmes and strategic accounts where needed.
  • CRM Management & Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities within Salesforce and HubSpot. Ensure data integrity to support forecasting, pipeline management, performance reporting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Market Intelligence & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively participate in sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and commercial planning sessions. Gather and share client feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to help refine sales strategies and improve overall performance.
  • Operational & Administrative Support: Provide proactive administrative and operational support to the Senior Account Manager team, assisting with proposals, client communications, reporting, and account management activities to maximise team effectiveness and revenue generation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
