Senior Sales Executive – Exhibitions
Guildford (Hybrid)
up to £40k DOE + Commission

If you’re commercially driven, ambitious and motivated by the opportunity to build new business opportunities and create strong client relationships, this could be your next opportunity!
We are partnered with a dynamic, fast-growing events and media business, with a portfolio of specialist events that brings passionate communities together with leading businesses, creating exciting opportunities for commercial growth.
They’re looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join their growing sales team, supporting new business development, growing and retaining accounts to drive revenue across their sports portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify new business prospects through outbound calling and other sales activity, such as LinkedIn, email & attending competitor events.
- Generate qualified leads and new commercial opportunities across the event portfolio.
- Confidently engage with businesses over the phone, identifying their requirements and building strong rapports.
- Work towards and exceed individual KPIs, activity targets and revenue objectives.
- Effectively manage sales activity and pipeline through the CRM system.
- Collaborate with wider sales teams to share leads and maximise cross-department opportunities.

Experience & Skills
- Ideally 2+ years experience in B2B events or media sales.
- Confident and comfortable making outbound sales calls and speaking with new prospects.
- Target driven and motivated by achieving and exceeding KPIs.
- Organised, resilient and able to manage a busy pipeline effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where activity and performance are key.
- A genuine ambition to develop a long-term career within sales and the events industry.
- Confident meeting clients face to face onsite at events, both the companies own and competitors too.
