Role Description

The Senior Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London. This role involves engaging with customers in the showroom, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable vehicles and finance options. Daily responsibilities include:

The Senior Sales Executive supports dealership targets by maintaining an active pipeline, accurately updating CRM systems, and collaborating with colleagues across sales, finance, and aftersales. The role also requires:

  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge
  • Ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard
  • Delivering a consistent, professional customer experience aligned with manufacturer and group guidelines

Qualifications

  • Strong automotive sales and business development skills, including experience in retail vehicle sales, lead generation, and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Customer service and relationship-building abilities, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, consultative service to diverse private and business customers.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills, including understanding of pricing, finance products, and profitability within a dealership environment.
  • Communication and presentation skills, with confidence in face-to-face interactions, telephone conversations, and clear written correspondence.
  • Organizational and time-management capabilities, including accurate record-keeping, CRM usage, and the ability to work to targets and deadlines.
  • Previous experience in the automotive sector, ideally in a senior or high-performing sales role, with knowledge of dealer processes and manufacturer standards.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced showroom environment, with flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required.
  • Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
