Its service department, supported by manufacturer-trained engineers, is dedicated to minimizing equipment downtime and maximizing client efficiency. Located at Albany House with dedicated showrooms, TBG prides itself on building positive, long-term business relationships with clients.

Role Description

The Senior Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gateshead. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing existing client accounts, and promoting TBG’s portfolio of technology products and solutions.

  • Prospecting and qualifying leads
  • Conducting in-person and virtual product demonstrations
  • Preparing proposals and quotations
  • Negotiating terms to close sales

The Senior Sales Executive will collaborate closely with the service and support teams to ensure a smooth customer experience, provide ongoing account management, and maintain accurate sales pipeline and reporting. The role also involves contributing to sales strategy, monitoring market trends, and representing TBG at client meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B technology or office solutions sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, customer relationship management, and consultative selling.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver clear presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on ethical and transparent sales practices.
  • Comfort with CRM systems and standard office software; familiarity with major IT and print manufacturers is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with technical, service, and support teams to address client needs.
  • Relevant experience in the Gateshead or wider UK market is beneficial; a valid UK driving license is an advantage for client visits.
  • Preferred: Vocational training or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
