Role: Senior Sales Executive (Office/Field based)

Salary: £35-40k per annum (dependent on experience) plus commission (£55-£65k on target earning) no commission cap.

New Home Improvement Group Ltd is entering an exciting new chapter. We provide high-quality home and garden improvement solutions, with a strong focus on garden rooms, driveways and landscaping. Alongside our wider services, including extensions and garage conversions, we offer a complete joined-up service designed to inspire customers, transform outdoor spaces and deliver outstanding results.

To support our continued growth, and to coincide with the opening of our brand-new showroom and design studio, we are creating a standout opportunity for an ambitious Senior Sales Executive to join the group. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the business, with the main focus on selling garden rooms, driveways and landscaping to customers who are looking to improve and make better use of their homes and outdoor spaces. With the new showroom and design studio providing a premium space to showcase our offering, this role will be central to converting interest into sales, building strong customer relationships and helping drive the next phase of growth for New Home Improvement Group Ltd. We will provide excellent training, hands-on support and genuine career progression opportunities for a confident, driven sales professional who wants to grow with an ambitious business.

Does this sound like you?

  • Confident, passionate and enthusiastic.
  • A proven track record in sales, ideally within the construction, home improvement, building products or related sectors.
  • Experienced in showcasing and presenting to potential customers, preferably at customers' homes.
  • Success driven and hunger to earn.
  • Enjoys working in a high-pressured environment.
  • Enjoys working to and can achieve challenging targets.
  • A desire to build a successful sales career.
  • Able to take initiative and ownership of issues; is proactive, has a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Able to multi-task and switch quickly between tasks.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong people/communication skills.

Highlights of this role include:

  • Supporting and assisting the sales directors to help the group continue to grow through increased sales revenue.
  • Working closely with the sales directors to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
  • Demonstrating our products and services with confidence using expert knowledge (full training provided).
  • Dealing with sales enquiries, from initial enquiry, through site visit to close.
  • Effectively managing leads using our company CRM.
  • Hitting set targets.
  • Present sales proposals and negotiate contracts with potential customers.

Schedule:

  • Flexible working hours will be required to meet customer availability, including appointments outside standard office hours where needed.
  • Some evening and weekend appointments may be required to support customer needs.
  • Mainly office-based in Wallingford, with flexibility to attend customer appointments as required.

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay.

Experience:

  • Sales: 5 years preferred, ideally with experience selling within the construction, home improvement, garden rooms, driveways, landscaping or building products industry.
