Senior Sales Executive – Managed Cyber Security

📍 UK Remote (England)
💰 £80,000 – £100,000 base | Uncapped OTE

A rare opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing independent MSSPs at exactly the right moment - a business that is already profitable, freshly PE-backed, winning against the giants, and scaling fast.

This is a predominately net new focused role with serious deal sizes, and the kind of company momentum that genuinely accelerates careers.

🔐 The Business

A UK-based, independently founded managed security business that has built something genuinely differentiated in a market dominated by large systems integrators and underperforming resellers.

They occupy the sweet spot in between - the technical depth, accreditations and SLAs of a major SI, with the agility, personalisation and pricing model of a specialist. The result is a business that is winning net new logos from both directions - taking deals from larger players on speed and flexibility, and taking deals from smaller MSSPs on technical credibility and trust.

Already protecting some of the UK's most recognisable household brands, backed by a top-tier UK growth equity firm, and reporting record growth in recurring MDR revenue with profits accelerating faster than revenue. 90% of ARR is recurring - this is a sticky, defensible revenue base, not a revolving door.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

🎯 The Role

Net new business focused. You will own the responsibility for identifying, qualifying and closing new enterprise logos - deals typically ranging from £1M to £30M, with sales cycles of up to 12 months.

Marketing, events and technical pre-sales provide genuine support and air cover, but the initial spark - finding the opportunity, mapping the buying committee, building the relationship - sits with you.

You will be selling the full managed security portfolio: SOC and MDR with a guaranteed sub-15-minute response SLA, Microsoft Sentinel Managed SOC, EDR, SOAR, managed firewall, email and cloud security, compliance advisory, professional services, and a proprietary board-level reporting platform that is a genuine product differentiator.

You'll be selling to CISOs, CIOs, CTOs and COOs across large commercial and enterprise organisations - across financial services, retail, manufacturing, utilities, CNI, media and beyond.

🔍 What They're Looking For

  • A proven track record selling complex, high-value managed services or cyber security solutions to senior stakeholders in large organisations - public or commercial sector backgrounds both considered
  • Comfortable and credible at C-level across long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles on large-value deals
  • A genuine new business hunter - someone who can identify and qualify their own opportunities, not just work warm inbound
  • Managed cyber services background strongly preferred - MDR, SOC, MSSP or similar
  • Someone who builds real relationships with customers, not just professional ones - Darren places huge weight on genuine trust and rapport in a market where long cycles and big deals mean relationships win
  • The right attitude - excited about joining a scaling business early and growing with it, not looking for a safe patch to coast in
