Job Title: Senior Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Manager
Location: United Kingdom
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Manager based in the United Kingdom.
Lead the evolution of a world-class sales, inventory, and operations planning function within a global manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions by aligning supply, demand, operations, and financial objectives across multiple markets. You will own and improve the SI&OP process, using data-driven insights to optimize inventory, customer service, profitability, and operational efficiency. Working with senior stakeholders across Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Product Management, and Finance, you will help drive sustainable business growth. This position is ideal for an experienced supply chain leader who thrives in complex environments, enjoys transformation initiatives, and can turn insights into impactful business decisions.
Accountabilities
- Own, develop, and continuously improve a best-in-class Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SI&OP) process that supports profitable growth and operational excellence.
- Lead monthly SI&OP cycles, including product, demand, supply, reconciliation, and executive review processes across regions and operational sites.
- Present planning outcomes, assumptions, recommendations, risks, and action plans to senior leadership teams.
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to create aligned plans that balance supply and demand effectively.
- Analyze business data and trends to identify opportunities, risks, and improvement areas, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate and timely ERP loading of reconciled demand plans across operational sites.
- Define, track, and report key SI&OP, business, and operational performance metrics.
- Develop scenario-based models to evaluate operational and financial impacts, supporting complex decision-making and strategic investments.
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and technology adoption initiatives to strengthen planning capabilities.
- Act as a change leader by promoting SI&OP best practices, training teams, and building organizational alignment.
- Support talent development and contribute to the evolution of integrated business planning structures.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, planning, or related functions within manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience leading significant process improvements, operational transformations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of sales and operations planning, inventory optimization, demand planning, and supply chain processes.
- Ability to communicate complex insights effectively to executive-level audiences and influence strategic decisions.
- Experience working in highly collaborative, matrixed organizations across multiple regions, teams, and operational sites.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
- Self-motivated and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to build consensus and drive results.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, data analysis platforms, and planning technologies.
- Experience with advanced planning systems, supplier collaboration platforms, or APICS CPIM/CSCP certification is considered an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
