Senior Sales (CRO)
UK (Remote-first)
Circa £120,000 OTE + EMI share options
An established B2B marketing, PR and content agency that works only with financial services firms. It has long-standing relationships across the financial markets, a modern AI-led way of working, and a board committed to scaling the business significantly over the next two years.
The role
- Lead the drive for new business: choose which firms to target, decide how to approach them, and turn first conversations into long-term retained clients.
- Build the sales function from the ground up, including process, pipeline discipline, forecasting and reporting the board can rely on.
- Take ownership of the agency's largest client accounts, protecting and expanding the revenue that underpins the business.
- Push into new markets beyond the agency's financial markets heritage, including payments, fintech, lending and consumer financial services.
- Use AI tools to sharpen prospecting, proposals and account management, and set the standard for the wider business.
- Hire and develop a sales team as the business grows.
- Take a seat on the board and help shape strategy, pricing and long-term direction.

What you'll bring
- 7+ years in senior sales, commercial or client leadership roles, with a proven record of landing and growing sizeable accounts.
- A solid grounding in financial services. Capital markets exposure will help you hit the ground running.
- A clear understanding of how agencies operate and how firms buy marketing, PR and content services. Direct agency experience is a plus, not a must.
- A proactive go-to-market mindset: you create demand rather than relying on your contact book.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the drive to build without a playbook.
- A genuine appetite for AI and digital tools, and the organisation to keep CRM, pipeline and proposals accurate.
- UK-based and able to travel nationally and internationally.
- Desirable: a US network and hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar platforms.
