Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing beverage brand built around sugar-free, low-calorie drinks for health-conscious consumers. The range spans flavoured sparkling water, oolong and herbal teas, milk tea, and functional drinks, and is now distributed across more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, including convenience stores, supermarkets, and local retail chains.
Role Overview
Our client is looking for a driven, field-based Sales Manager to grow our presence across retail, grocery, and on-trade. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports: you'll own your own territory, build relationships with buyers and store owners, and be directly responsible for distribution, visibility, and revenue growth in your patch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts across retail, grocery, and on-trade in an assigned territory
- Identify and win new stockists, negotiating listings, shelf space, and promotional activity
- Build strong, long-term relationships with buyers, store managers, on-trade operators, and distributor partners
- Deliver against sales volume, revenue, and distribution targets across all three channels
- Plan and execute a regular call cycle across the territory, maximising time in the field
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends, feeding insights back to the wider team
- Ensure excellent in-store and in-venue execution: merchandising, stock rotation, and brand standards
- Manage and report on territory performance using CRM tools, providing regular updates to the Sales Director
- Represent our client Forest at trade shows, tastings, and events as needed

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
