Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key clients, including utilities, industrial plant owners, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies in Germany.
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, track market trends, and analyze competitors' activities in the utility PV and energy storage sectors.
- Lead the entire utility sales cycle, from initial client contact and opportunity mining to proposal submission, negotiation, and contract closure, ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as Solution Representatives (SR) and Field Representatives (FR), to provide comprehensive solutions that meet clients' needs and ensure smooth project implementation.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from clients, manage accounts receivable, and maintain healthy cash flow for the business.
- Collaborate closely with HQ and local technical teams, ensuring regular updates on product information, training, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of proven sales or account management experience in the utility PV, energy storage, or renewable energy industry.
- Proven track record in utility-scale PV and BESS projects (>100 MW) from opportunity identification to contract closure.
- Strong network with England EPC, IPP, utilities, or clients; existing relationships are a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with the ability to negotiate and present at a senior level.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience, working with technical, solution, and field teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
