The Company

Our client has a growing catalogue and a strong commercial footprint. They continue to expand their reach across traditional TV, SVOD, AVOD, FAST and emerging digital models.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Sales Manager, Film & TV, you will take ownership of licensing negotiations, build senior-level client relationships and identify commercial opportunities in a shifting distribution landscape.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help shape deal strategy, assess financial impact and ensure the smooth progression of deals from initial discussion through to completion and internal handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex licensing negotiations with broadcasters and digital platforms, securing agreements across Free, Basic and Pay TV, SVOD, SaVOD, AVOD, FVOD, FAST and emerging business models
  • Strengthen senior-level client relationships, and long-standing partnerships with broadcasters, platforms and key industry stakeholders
  • Spot new sales opportunities arising from market entrants, technological shifts and evolving delivery systems
  • Work closely with senior internal stakeholders to assess the financial, strategic and long-term impact of major licensing deals
  • Build strong internal networks across departments and global group teams
  • Stay informed on market trends and industry developments and guide commercial decisions and support revenue-driving activity
  • Represent the business at events, including MIPCOM and London Screenings
  • Manage avails and rights information in collaboration with the TV & Digital Sales Executive and Digital Sales Administrator
  • Oversee the full cycle of deals, tracking progress from initial discussion through to contract completion and coordinating post-deal follow-through with finance, technical servicing, marketing and other internal teams.

THE PERSON

You should have prior experience within international distribution, broadcasting or content sales, with strong relationships across the industry.

Confidence in deal negotiation, revenue delivery and independent sales management is essential, along with the ability to lead discussions, advance deals and consistently meet targets.

Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, alongside excellent oral and written skills. You should be commercially minded, strategically aware and able to navigate fast-moving conversations with senior stakeholders.
