Senior Sales Manager – Field-Based

Salary: Circa £50,000 base salary + uncapped bonus

Location: Field-Based – East & West Sussex, M23 Corridor & Kent

Benefits: Company Car + Uncapped Earning Potential

We’ve partnered with a fast-growing foodservice distribution business that is continuing to invest heavily in its people, commercial capability and future growth.

Supplying restaurants, pubs, hospitality groups, bakeries and multi-site operators, the business has built a strong reputation around service, relationships and doing what it says it will do.

As part of the next stage of growth, they’re now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Sales Manager to help strengthen their presence across East and West Sussex, the M23 corridor and surrounding areas, with flexibility to consider strong candidates based in Kent too.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, field-led commercial role with a major focus on winning new business, developing larger accounts and building long-term customer relationships.

You’ll be expected to get out into the market, open doors and target opportunities across pub groups, hospitality groups, multi-site operators and larger independent foodservice customers. This is not a desk-based sales management role.

You will personally own a sales target, spend the majority of your time in front of customers and prospects, and play a key role in increasing market share across a strategically important territory.

You’ll also have leadership responsibility, initially supporting at least one Area Sales Manager, while continuing to remain highly active commercially yourself with motivation to grow a highly successful, larger team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
