Senior Sales Manager in North of England - Fitness & Performance Brand
£50-55k (experience dependent) + circa £10k bonus + £6k car allowance
Location: North of England, field-based, with national account travel.
Our client is a leading provider in its field, trusted by major gym chains, sports teams and elite athletes across the globe. They're looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead B2B sales across fitness, elite sport and other vertical channels throughout the North of the UK, working closely with the Head of Commercial to drive growth with key customers.
This is a genuine opportunity to be a senior voice within a small, high-performing UK team, with real scope to shape strategy rather than simply execute it. You'll own the North as your territory while still touching national accounts, giving you the breadth of a bigger patch with the autonomy of running your own book. It's a business where product quality speaks for itself, which makes selling it a far easier conversation.
On offer is a strong bonus and car allowance on top of base salary, a genuinely collaborative culture across sales, marketing and product, and a clear path to grow your influence as the UK team scales.
Working pattern: Field-based, four days a week, covering the North of England with travel to national accounts, client sites and events as needed, and occasional evenings or weekends for shows and deadlines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
