Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager who wants to be part of Tieto Banktech. Tieto Banktech powers some of the Nordics’ most trusted banking systems with secure, reliable, and scalable solutions. Using automation, data, AI, and cloud, supported by hands-on guidance, we help banks modernize their core, strengthen trust, and deliver greater impact across the banking experience.
Payments at Tieto Banktech
Tieto Payments is the leading payments and cash management software and SaaS provider in the Nordics with substantial footprint in Europe, North America and APAC. We are on a trajectory for further global growth. We are seeking an experienced sales manager who will take the responsibility of sales of our payments offering.
Tieto Payments develops account to account (A2A) payment as well as cash and liquidity management solutions for banks intended for use by the banks’ retail and corporate customers.
When joining Tieto Banktech as a Senior Sales Manager, you will:
- Join a skilled team of sales professionals with years of experience in banking software sales, where you learn new things with your colleagues.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential new customers, identify and develop leads.
- Execute go-to-market plan together with sales and marketing teams.
- Manage pipeline and close deals.
- Lead contract negotiation with bid teams.
- Own sales case until handover to Delivery.
- Develop and close contracts and project statements of work with customers.
- Contribute to thought leadership in Payments area.

Who we are looking for:
- Demonstrable and successful track-record of winning new strategic, long-term deals.
- Experience and understanding of the payments, cash management or transaction banking business domain.
- B2B software sales experience.
- Developed relationships with senior stakeholders in European, North American or Asian banks.
- Experience with writing and negotiating contracts.
- Excellent written (technical), presentation and verbal communication skills.
- You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
