Up to £84k base + commission | Confidential search
A global omnichannel media platform is hiring a senior commercial lead to own its Publicis relationship in the UK, one of the most strategically important agency partnerships in the business, with a trading agreement already in place.
This is a player-coach role: you'll be personally active in market, selling and building relationships, while leading and developing a small team of sellers with room to grow.
What you'll do:
- Own and grow revenue across a multi-million-pound Publicis portfolio
- Build senior relationships across Publicis agencies and buying teams
- Personally sell and open new business, not just manage a team that does
- Lead, coach and develop junior sellers, set standards, improve accountability, get hands-on when it matters
- Run a disciplined commercial operation: pipeline, forecasting, CRM hygiene, account planning
- Represent the business at senior industry and agency forums

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- 5+ years in digital media, AdTech, programmatic or media sales, ideally with agency holding company relationships
- Current, active relationships within Publicis (Zenith, Starcom, Spark or similar) — not historic ones

- Strong commercial rigour — you can explain how you run your business, not just your results
- Experience across CTV, video, programmatic or major social/platform sales
- Self-awareness and low ego — you can talk openly about what's gone wrong as well as what's gone right
