About Innovation Forum
Innovation Forum is a purpose-driven business based in London, committed to making sustainability mainstream in business. We host industry-leading business conferences, publish in-depth analysis, and deliver stakeholder engagement, research and communications services. Our work spans critical sustainability challenges across global supply chains, helping business leaders drive meaningful change.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join our growing London team and lead sponsorship sales for our apparel and textiles conference series. The role suits someone with 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ready to take ownership of an established and highly successful portfolio with considerable room to grow.
This role is responsible for the sponsorship revenue across three events annually. You will build strategic partnerships with senior decision-makers across brands, solution providers and NGOs, tailoring annual partnerships that highlight commitments to sustainability, build connections with industry leaders, and drive tangible progress on some of the most urgent challenges in global apparel supply chains. Our events run in Amsterdam, New York, and will expand to Hong Kong in 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sponsorship sales: Lead the end-to-end sales process from prospecting and outreach through to pitching, negotiating and closing high-value sponsorship deals.
- Grow the portfolio: You will be responsible for the growth of the series, with a strong focus on new business as you build your client base, alongside renewing and expanding existing accounts.
- Engage senior stakeholders: Adopt a consultative selling approach to develop trusted relationships with sustainability, fashion and supply chain leaders.
- Build annual partnerships across the business: We develop annual partnerships across our events, publishing and stakeholder engagement work, so proposals are developed carefully with the client in mind.
- Manage a varied workload: You will run three events at different stages of the cycle simultaneously, while advising on growth strategy for the series and working closely with our operations, marketing and conference production teams to ensure a seamless sponsor experience and successful delivery.
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting: Use Salesforce to forecast revenue, manage your pipeline and report on performance to the leadership team.
- Analyse market trends: Help inform company strategy through your understanding of market trends, customer needs and competitor activity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
