About the Role
The Senior Sales Manager, Third Party will be responsible for overseeing and optimising all leasing activities for third-party Multifamily assets within Greystar's UK portfolio. This role focuses on driving occupancy, maximising rental income and delivering a seamless resident experience through data-driven leasing strategies, strong team leadership and effective use of technology.
The successful candidate will be a leader who can grow and develop teams, is comfortable making data-driven sales funnel decisions, and has experience implementing automation, omnichannel solutions and customer journeys to drive sales performance.
This position can be based in London or Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage and scale Greystar's newly created centralised leasing function for third-party Multifamily assets, developing scalable, technology-enabled leasing strategies to increase profitability and achieve occupancy and revenue targets as the function grows.
- Manage the day-to-day performance of the Central Sales Team, overseeing the full leasing lifecycle — including marketing, lead generation, prospect management, lease negotiations and resident onboarding — to meet or exceed all KPIs and deliver best-in-class results.
- Recruit, coach, mentor and develop leasing professionals and the wider central sales team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.
- Forecast and manage resourcing levels within the central sales team in line with consumer demand and seasonal fluctuations (e.g. shift patterns, headcount) to control operating costs while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and property performance data to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate closely with asset managers, property managers and marketing teams to ensure leasing objectives align with overall property goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party asset owners, providing regular updates on leasing performance and market insights.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key demand channels — including ILS sites, OTAs and agents — to identify opportunities to improve the sales funnel and optimise conversion.
- Develop and manage leasing budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies and optimal resource allocation.
- Work collaboratively with digital technology teams to develop and deliver tech enhancements and new communication channels that drive continuous improvement in leasing processes and efficiency.
- Accountable for implementing Greystar's leasing policies, procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and consistent, high-quality touchpoints across the leasing journey.
- Deputise for the Sales Director in their absence, ensuring work is organised and executed in line with Greystar's expectations.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on leasing performance, market conditions and strategic initiatives to senior management and third-party owners.
- Build a scalable, trusted and high-achieving sales function that delivers target-driven performance, regardless of work location.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
