D.med Healthcare is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager (mfd) to support the continued growth of our healthcare and medical technology activities in the UK and internationally.
This is a senior commercial role for someone with a strong track record in the MedTech or medical device sector, combining a deep understanding of the NHS commercial environment with proven experience developing and closing opportunities across international markets.
We are looking for a commercially driven individual who can quickly take ownership of sales activities, strengthen relationships with healthcare decision-makers and partners, identify new market opportunities, and translate our capabilities into sustainable commercial growth.
Immediate availability is required for this position.
The Role
As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales activities across the UK healthcare market and selected international territories. You will work closely with senior management and colleagues across the D.med Healthcare Group to strengthen our market presence, build strategic customer relationships and identify opportunities for our healthcare, MedTech and related solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies for the UK and international healthcare markets.
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities within the NHS, private healthcare sector and international markets.
- Building strong relationships with NHS Trusts, healthcare professionals, procurement teams, clinical stakeholders and senior healthcare decision-makers.
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation and contract closure.
- Identifying relevant NHS procurement opportunities, tenders, frameworks and partnerships.
- Developing relationships with international distributors, commercial partners, healthcare providers and other strategic stakeholders.
- Supporting market entry and business development activities in new territories.
- Managing and developing a strong commercial pipeline with clear forecasting and reporting.
- Conducting market and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and changing customer requirements.
- Representing D.med Healthcare at industry conferences, exhibitions, customer meetings and other commercial events.
- Working cross-functionally with marketing, product, technical, regulatory and operational teams to develop customer-focused commercial propositions.
- Supporting commercial negotiations, tenders, proposals and strategic partnership discussions.
- Providing senior management with regular updates on pipeline development, sales performance, market intelligence and commercial opportunities.

About You
We are looking for an experienced sales professional who understands both the complexity of selling into the NHS and the commercial dynamics of international MedTech markets.
You should have:
- Significant B2B sales or business development experience within MedTech, medical devices, healthcare technology or a closely related healthcare sector.
- Demonstrable experience selling into or working commercially with the NHS.
- A strong understanding of NHS stakeholders, procurement processes and healthcare decision-making.
- Proven experience developing business across international markets.
- Experience managing complex and consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- A demonstrable record of generating new business and achieving commercial growth.
- Strong experience in relationship management, negotiation and commercial discussions.
- Experience working with distributors, strategic partners or international customers would be highly advantageous.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to identify and prioritise high-value opportunities.
- Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to operate confidently with senior executives, healthcare professionals and external partners.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial and results-oriented approach.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across an international organisation.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required.

What We Are Looking For

- Or similar senior commercial professional
Experience spanning both UK NHS sales and international healthcare markets will be particularly important.
