Join us in developing tomorrow’s Demand Response Transport technology solutions – making every journey matter.
Job Summary:
Where public sector meets ambitious tech: Voyagerr is expanding its senior sales- and bid leadership across the UK and the Nordics and we want the person who can win it — selling complex IT solutions into government bodies, public authorities, and regulated organizations.
Job Description:
Join the dynamic team at Voyagerr, transforming public transportation through software solutions specifically within the Demand Response Transport sector.
This is a fully remote role based in the UK with some travelling within Europe and especially the Nordic countries. You will report to our Head of sales & Marketing. It’s a perfect role for someone who prefers and thrives on long, complex sales cycles: you'll open doors, build relationships with senior stakeholders, lead bid teams through competitive tenders, and negotiate the contracts that turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.
You'll own the full sales lifecycle — from first conversation to contract award — working closely with solution architects, delivery, legal, and finance along the way.
If you combine the drive of a business developer, the credibility of a trusted advisor, and the discipline to manage high-stakes public procurement processes, we want to talk to you.
What you'll do
Sales & Business Development
- Drive complex, end-to-end sales processes for enterprise IT solutions within the public sector – local transport authorities & their consultants
- Proactively identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities with local transport authorities & transport operators— not just respond to inbound tenders
- Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and procurement leads
- Shape account strategies for key public sector customers across the UK and Scandinavia
Tender & Bid Management
- Lead tender processes (RFIs, RFPs, ITTs) end to end & prepare the final responses with inputs from experts
- Coordinate cross-functional bid teams — solution architects, delivery, legal, and finance
- Shape winning, compliant proposals with a clear focus on value, risk, and commercial viability
- Own pricing strategy, commercial models, and contractual positioning

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Contracting & Negotiation
- Lead negotiations with public procurement bodies, including framework agreements and multi-year contracts
- Balance commercial ambition with compliance, delivery feasibility, and long-term partnership value
International Collaboration
- Work across borders with international teams and customers
- Support market expansion and scaling of public sector sales across multiple geographies
- Share best practice across regions on tenders and procurement
What you bring
- You've built a career winning complex public sector deals — ideally in IT, software, SaaS, or other complex technology solutions — and you know the difference between managing a pipeline and actually creating one. You don't wait for tenders to land in your inbox; you're out building relationships and shaping opportunities long before an RFP exists.
- You have experience in transport tenders in the UK and/or Nordics and a good awareness of the key stakeholders & ecosystem.
- You've led bids through to contract award, not just supported them — coordinating cross-functional teams, owning pricing and commercial strategy, and navigating the compliance and governance requirements that come with public procurement. You're just as comfortable negotiating a multi-year framework agreement as you are opening a first conversation with a new stakeholder, and you know how to balance commercial ambition against delivery reality.
- None of this happens on short sales cycles, so you're patient by design — persistent through long, multi-stakeholder processes without losing momentum. You've worked across borders before, ideally in international or multi-country sales environments, and you hold a relevant academic background (a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience).
- You are fluent in English and ideally at least one other Scandinavian language.

Why join us
- This is a role built for someone who wants ownership, not just a quota. You'll run public sector sales with real autonomy — influencing strategy, leading bids, and negotiating the deals that matter, without layers of process getting in your way.
- The work has weight behind it: the solutions you sell help deliver accessible, inclusive mobility services to the communities that rely on them most. Not every sales role lets you point to impact like that.
- Compensation reflects the autonomy of the role, with a strong base and performance-based upside that rewards the deals you actually win. And the way you work is built around trust: home-based, flexible, with travel across the UK and other European countries when it counts — not for the sake of being seen.
- If you want a role where you can point to the deals you led, the markets you opened, and the outcomes you drove, this is that role.
