Senior Sales & Marketing Executive (Temporary, Part-Time)

Part-Time, 21 Hours per Week (3 Days)

Location: Flexible / Hybrid

Inspired Selection is recruiting on behalf of an ambitious independent children's publisher seeking a proactive Sales & Marketing Executive to support the growth of its titles across retail, trade and online channels for approximately 6 months.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with bookselling, online bookselling, retail or ecommerce experience who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and driving sales growth.

Working closely with an experienced publishing team, you will help increase visibility, support retailer partnerships, develop online sales and represent the business at events and across the trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with bookshops, retailers and trade partners
  • Support sales outreach and follow-up activity
  • Help grow online and direct-to-consumer sales
  • Identify opportunities to increase visibility and sales across retail channels
  • Represent the business at events and trade activities
  • Support marketing campaigns and audience engagement initiatives
  • Work closely with external marketing partners and internal stakeholders

About You

  • Experience within bookselling, online bookselling, retail, ecommerce or customer-facing sales
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially minded, organised and proactive
  • Confident representing a brand and building new relationships
  • Interested in children's books and keen to learn more about the publishing industry
