Senior Sales Operations Associate

What You Will Do

As a Senior Sales Operations Associate, you own the commercial engine that drives quotes from request to delivery. You are the connective tissue between our customers, OEM partners, and distribution channels, operating with urgency, precision, and commercial intelligence.

This is not a passive coordination role. You will be expected to anticipate bottlenecks, drive outcomes, and apply lessons from every engagement to become sharper and more effective over time. You will work across a customer base that includes some of the largest technology organisations in the world, and they expect a lot. So do we.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end quote process. From the moment a customer request lands, you drive it forward proactively. You know the next step and have already taken it.
  • Register and manage bid submissions directly with OEM platforms, including Cisco CCW and equivalent tools, working with OEM Account Managers to secure deal approval at the correct discount tier for the customer.
  • Engage global distribution channels, coordinating with national and global distributors to secure competitive and accurate pricing.
  • Build accurate, competitive, and professional quotes in Sage X3 and deliver them to customers with clarity, addressing questions, explaining commercials, and closing the loop.
  • Maintain live visibility into OEM and distributor pricing across networking and Audio Visual hardware, proactively identifying pricing changes before they impact active opportunities.
  • Translate lessons learned from previous projects into smarter future quotes and improved commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and pricing trends across the hardware categories we sell, providing valuable market intelligence to the Account Management team.
  • Maintain meticulous records of bids, pricing data, customer interactions, and deal history, ensuring documentation remains the source of truth for the commercial team.
  • Drive final project invoicing in close coordination with Account Management, ensuring billing accuracy.
  • Represent Sales Operations confidently in customer meetings, providing updates on quote status, pricing rationale, and timelines.
  • Partner with Finance to resolve invoicing queries and manage customer follow-up with the same responsiveness applied to quoting activities.
  • Mentor and coach junior Sales Operations Associates, setting the standard for accuracy, urgency, accountability, and ownership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
