Role Description

As a Senior Sales or Lettings Consultant, you will manage and grow a portfolio of residential properties, guiding clients through the complete sales or lettings process. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market appraisals
  • Arranging and attending property viewings
  • Advising clients on pricing and marketing strategies
  • Negotiating offers to secure the best possible outcomes

You will maintain regular communication with vendors, landlords, buyers, and tenants, ensuring a smooth, transparent experience and accurate documentation at each stage. The role also involves developing local market knowledge, generating new business opportunities, and collaborating with colleagues to meet team targets.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Croydon borough. Reside within a 5-mile radius of Croydon, a car is a must.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in residential sales or lettings within an estate agency or related property environment, ideally at senior or negotiator level.
  • Strong client relationship and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and handle negotiations confidently.
  • Solid knowledge of the local South London property market and a commercial mindset focused on achieving and exceeding performance targets.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple properties and tasks, maintaining accurate records, and meeting deadlines.
  • Comfort with property management and estate agency systems, as well as general digital literacy (email, CRM tools, online property platforms).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to travel locally for valuations and viewings as required.
  • Professional, ethical approach to work, with attention to detail and compliance with relevant property and lettings regulations.
  • Relevant industry training or qualifications (e.g., NAEA, ARLA or equivalent) are advantageous but not mandatory.
