Frazer Durham Sales Specialist
Frazer is a leading provider of specialist civils, infrastructure, and utility products and solutions. As part of STARK Building Materials UK, we combine specialist expertise, market-leading products, and exceptional service to support customers across the housing, infrastructure, industrial, and commercial sectors.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm
Frazer Durham (DH1 2YN) is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in merchanting, construction, industrial distribution, or another B2B sales environment who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Working closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues, you will play a key role in growing sales, developing customer accounts, and ensuring every customer receives expert advice and a first-class experience.
What You Will Be Doing...
- Building strong relationships with new, existing, and lapsed customers.
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending the right products and solutions.
- Identifying opportunities to increase sales through upselling and cross-selling.
- Preparing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring they are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Developing your knowledge of civils, infrastructure, and utility products by working closely with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Providing expert product advice and technical support to customers.
- Advising customers on pricing, trading terms, credit facilities, and account management.
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience on every interaction.
- Supporting branch objectives and contributing to the overall success of the team.

What We Are Looking For...
We would love to hear from you if you have experience in a:
- Builders' Merchant
- Civils Merchant
- Drainage Merchant
- Utilities Merchant
- Plumbing & Heating Merchant
- Landscaping Merchant
- Construction Supplies business
You will also have:
- Previous sales or customer service experience within the merchanting or construction sector.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to identify and secure sales opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using IT systems and communicating with customers over the telephone.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
