Senior Sales Specialist – Histology

UK Field-Based | National Territory | Capital Equipment

An opportunity for an experienced Histology Sales Specialist to take commercial responsibility for a specialist portfolio of capital equipment and laboratory solutions across the UK.

Working with NHS and private Histopathology laboratories, you will develop new business, manage strategic accounts and lead opportunities from initial engagement through evaluation, tender and commercial close.

This is a high-autonomy role offering significant ownership of the UK market and the opportunity to influence commercial growth.

The Role

  • Develop sales across NHS and private Histopathology laboratories
  • Sell capital equipment and solutions across the histology workflow
  • Build relationships with Histology Managers, Biomedical Scientists, Pathology Leads, and procurement teams
  • Manage demonstrations, evaluations, tenders, and commercial negotiations
  • Develop strategic accounts and new business opportunities
  • Manage a national pipeline and territory
  • Work closely with Applications and Service teams

Your Background

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Sales experience within Histology, Histopathology, or Cellular Pathology
  • Experience selling capital laboratory equipment
  • Strong understanding of histology workflows and NHS pathology
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and tenders
  • Strong customer relationships within the UK pathology market

Experience across tissue processing, microtomy, cryostats, staining, coverslipping, IHC, embedding, or specimen identification would be particularly relevant.

Experienced Histology Applications Specialists with strong commercial aptitude may also be considered.
