Description
We’re looking for a commercially minded Senior Sales Specialist to help drive growth across NCC Group’s propositions. This is a quota-bearing role focused on shaping, developing and closing high-quality opportunities across tier-1, enterprise and mid-market customers.
Working closely with Client Executives, Account Managers, Sales Engineering, Portfolio and Delivery teams, you’ll bring proposition expertise, market insight and strategic influence to complex customer engagements. You’ll help ensure our solutions are positioned around measurable client outcomes, while maintaining strong pricing discipline, commercial governance and delivery feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proposition expertise across services offerings to support customer engagements, RFPs and proposal development.
- Partner with Client Executives and Account Managers to shape tailored value propositions aligned to customer challenges, industry trends and commercial objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams to validate scope, feasibility and commercial structure.
- Lead or contribute to customer-facing presentations, workshops and strategy sessions where credibility, trust and service expertise are key.
- Own pricing strategy, contract structure and commercial risk to maximise competitiveness, profitability and win rate.
- Track and influence pipeline development in key accounts, supporting progression through critical deal stages.
- Act as a bridge between Sales, Product and Delivery, sharing market feedback and supporting portfolio evolution.
- Support internal enablement by mentoring account teams and sharing insight on emerging trends, competitors and technologies.
- Orchestrate targeted campaigns to drive growth in your area of expertise.

Commercial impact
- Develop and refine business cases and ROI models that demonstrate customer value and align with commercial strategy.
- Ensure proposals maintain pricing discipline, margin integrity, commercial compliance and delivery readiness.
- Support the development of strategic deal frameworks and reusable sales assets.
- Coach sales teams on opportunity qualification, complex deal structuring and execution.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience shaping complex cybersecurity, technology or professional services opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer value, profitability, risk and delivery feasibility.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs and security or IT leadership teams.
- Experience supporting enterprise or strategic account sales cycles.
- Ability to build business cases, pricing scenarios, margin analysis and ROI models.
- Understanding of commercial models, contract structures, statements of work, SLAs and risk allocation.
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across matrixed teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or equivalent sales and quoting tools.
Cybersecurity knowledge
You’ll bring strong domain knowledge across cybersecurity services, with an understanding of areas such as OT/IT security, Continuous Assurance, Continuous Threat Exposure Management, Digital Identity and Access Management, and complex managed services. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA and ISO 27001 would also be beneficial.
