Salesforce Automotive Industry Architect

About the Role

As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a Salesforce Automotive Industry Architect to join our Salesforce Architecture and Advisory team in London, focusing on clients in the Automotive Domain.

The Salesforce Solution Architect acts as a strategic advisor and expert on Salesforce products and platforms for key clients. This role engages with executive-level stakeholders and collaborates with enterprise architects and business users, providing best practices in areas such as security, performance, development processes, and governance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as a trusted advisor to our Automotive clients, building strong stakeholder relationships and guiding strategic Salesforce decision-making.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions that deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Provide architectural leadership across programmes, aligning multiple architects, managing design risks, and ensuring a cohesive end-to-end solution approach.
  • Partner with project and engagement managers, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to support successful planning, delivery, and governance.
  • Lead solution evaluations and reviews, shape project direction, and proactively manage risks and issues while engaging with executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the practice.
  • Contribute to business growth by supporting presales activities, including solution proposals, target architectures, integration strategies, security considerations, data migration approaches, and implementation roadmaps.

What Experience You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience in consulting and architecture leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering digital transformation programmes within the Automotive sector.
  • Deep Salesforce architecture expertise across Automotive Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, with experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce implementations.
  • Mandatory Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, and OmniStudio Consultant certifications.
  • Strong understanding of integration architecture, master data management, and cloud platforms such as AWS, with the ability to design scalable, secure enterprise solutions.
  • Proven ability to analyse and optimise business processes, define target architectures, identify capability gaps, and guide organisations through technology transformation.
  • Experience leading design workshops, presenting solutions to clients and senior stakeholders, and influencing technical and business decision-making.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience mentoring teams and working across Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Desirable: additional Salesforce certifications, AppExchange implementation experience, enterprise integration expertise, Salesforce development experience, and SAFe or other Agile certifications.
