Hello,

We are Recognise Bank; a modern business bank built to support the UK’s SMEs with tailored lending and savings solutions. Founded in 2017 by experienced business owners, we set out to challenge traditional banking by offering more flexibility, understanding, and practical support to help businesses thrive. Since receiving our banking licence in 2021, we’ve built a loyal customer base and a strong, diverse team that puts people first.

Our vision is building stronger futures with bespoke financial solutions. We understand that no two financial needs are the same, which is why we work closely with UK SMEs and individuals to unlock potential others often overlook. Through smart, flexible lending and savings products, we’re here to build and grow stronger futures for lasting success.

Our values shape how we work and grow together:

  • Can do, will do: We take ownership, solve problems, and adapt as our customers’ needs evolve.
  • Be brilliant: We show up with curiosity and energy, always striving for better.
  • Do the right thing: We act with integrity, responsibility, and care in everything we do.
  • Make a difference: We focus on impact, helping our customers, colleagues, and communities succeed.

About the Role

Develop, enhance, and support the Bank's Salesforce and nCino platforms, delivering scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that support lending, customer servicing, operational efficiency, and business growth. Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party providers to implement high-quality platform enhancements, integrations, and automation while adhering to Salesforce development best practices, governance standards, and the Bank's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the design and delivery of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements whilst maintaining platform stability, scalability, and performance.
  • Lead the development, enhancement, and support of Salesforce functionality using declarative and programmatic approaches, including Flows, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components where required.
  • Deliver robust integrations between Salesforce, nCino, and internal or third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and integration best practices.
  • Establish and embed Salesforce development standards, coding practices, testing approaches, and release management processes.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests and deployment processes to ensure solution quality, reliability, and compliance with change management requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and operational teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Review and optimise existing Salesforce and nCino configurations, identifying opportunities to improve automation, user experience, platform performance, and technical debt.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive root-cause resolution of production incidents.
  • Partner with technology and security teams to ensure Salesforce solutions comply with regulatory, governance, data protection, and security requirements.
  • Mentor and support colleagues by sharing Salesforce expertise, promoting best practices, and contributing to a collaborative engineering culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
