SAP Ariba Delivery Lead

As an SAP Ariba Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in supporting and delivering procurement transformation initiatives, working closely with clients and project teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of SAP-led transformation projects, with a focus on procurement and Ariba-related solutions.
  • Establish delivery plans, milestones and governance structures to support effective project execution.
  • Coordinate project delivery, ensuring key activities are completed to the required standard and within agreed timelines.
  • Contribute to deployment, migration and transition planning, helping to ensure a controlled move into the target solution.
  • Provide guidance on solution design and ensure project outputs align with agreed architecture, standards and delivery approaches.
  • Facilitate client discussions and workshops, providing practical insight into procurement processes and SAP solutions.
  • Support business development and pre-sales activity, helping clients define their future procurement technology strategy.
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and project sponsors.
  • Contribute to internal capability building, knowledge sharing and wider practice initiatives.

Essential

  • Strong background working with SAP Ariba and wider procurement technology.
  • Good understanding of how Ariba interacts with SAP ERP and related business functions.
  • Experience across procurement processes, ideally covering source-to-pay and both direct and indirect procurement.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and influence key project decisions.
  • Understanding of integration points between procurement and areas such as Finance, HR and Supply Chain.
  • Previous experience delivering SAP Ariba within a wider transformation or implementation environment.
  • Awareness of the evolving SAP Ariba product landscape and future direction.
  • Experience working within structured project delivery methodologies, including Agile environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage across business and technical teams.
