SAP Digital Payments Consultant (SAP DPA)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Digital Payments Consultant to join a major SAP transformation programme. You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Digital Payments Add-On (DPA) solutions, enabling secure and seamless payment processing across SAP landscapes.
Working closely with business stakeholders, payment providers, banks, and technical teams, you will play a key role in designing and delivering end-to-end payment solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure SAP Digital Payments Add-On (DPA) solutions.
- Design and support payment processing architectures within SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.
- Configure payment methods, payment card processing, and digital payment workflows.
- Integrate SAP with external Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and payment gateways.
- Deliver integrations with providers such as Cybersource, Worldpay, and other certified PSPs.
- Configure payment authorisation, capture, settlement, refunds, and void processes.
- Support payment tokenisation and secure card handling mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot payment processing and integration issues across multiple systems.
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution of payment-related incidents.
- Work across SAP DPA, SAP ECC, SAP Integration technologies, and Adobe Commerce environments.
- Collaborate with banks, PSPs, and business teams during implementation and production support activities.
- Support testing activities, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure compliance with security, financial, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in audit and compliance reviews as required.

Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience implementing and supporting SAP Digital Payments Add-On (DPA).
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC.
- Experience integrating SAP with payment gateways and Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
- Good understanding of payment processing lifecycles, including authorisation, capture, settlement, refunds, and voids.
- Experience with payment tokenisation, encryption, and secure card processing.
- Knowledge of payment security and compliance standards, including PCI-DSS.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with banking integrations and third-party payment providers.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Experience
- SAP Integration Suite / SAP CPI.
- Adobe Commerce (Magento) integration experience.
- SAP Commerce Cloud exposure.
- Experience within Retail, Consumer Goods, Financial Services, or eCommerce environments.
- Knowledge of digital wallets and alternative payment methods.
